The films serve as a springboard to discussion of the themes and how they are addressed in different countries, particularly through the medium of film.
Each evening will focus on comparing Asian, European and US cultures in regards to particular themes. The nightly screening at an Embassy or Cultural Center will be followed by discussion of the films and the topics. The final evening will showcase the audience favorites from the whole week, followed by a small reception. The events are free and open to all.
All shows are sold out.
If you plan on waiting for stand-by seats, it is recommended that you arrive early to form a single cue. Reservations will be honored until 10 minutes prior to show time. At 6:20 p.m. each evening, all unclaimed seats will be released to stand-by patrons. Seating is general admission, and on a first-come, first-seated basis. A reservation does not guarantee a seat.
